Communicating Effectively
Don't waste time sending the wrong messages, to the wrong people, in the wrong way.
Ask yourself - will these people will be interested in our message? Will they benefit from buying into our service/ products?
If so, make sure that the information that you want customers to take on board is clear and accurate.
It doesn't matter how many people see your marketing material – if the key message is not instantly clear, nobody will take time out of their schedule for a second look.
Make sure that your databases are up to date with the correct details... And finally, use the correct vehicle to get your message across.
For example:
- Want to attract customers to a niche product? Then take the time and effort to get industry press, network with associated businesses and look for opportunities for cross marketing...
- Want to announce your new website? – Use e-newsletters, e-flyers and cross-marketing; including hyperlinks to your site.
Marketing budgets are tight at the best of times. Take time out to communicate effectively and you could save time and money as well as close a few more deals.
